Adventure Travel Media Source is the brainchild of founder Nancy Harrison. Nancy only started adventuring at the age of 40 when she learned to ski, whitewater raft and horseback ride while living in Winter Park, Colorado. She went on to live in Wyoming where she enjoys fly fishing, hiking and camping, sea kayaking, and many other nature-based recreations.  ATMS was formed in 1999 and partner, Bobbi Bolio joined the company in 2002.  ATMS includes a great team of media kit designers and writers who support the clients with their special brand of enthusiasm.

Nancy has two grown children and four grandsons, all of whom enjoy their special brand of the outdoors - fishing, hiking, camping, water sports and snow sports.

Nancy is a true Citizen of the West who has lived her entire life in the Rocky Mountain States. She has become an expert in her field of media relations and spends a good deal of her time each year teaching and lecturing on PR to groups such as The International Ecotourism Society, America Outdoors, the World Congress of Adventure Travel and many state and regional conferences and international gatherings.

Travel is Nancy's passion, as you can see by these photos. She spends part of each year on spectacular trips with clients. Nancy visits as many clients as possible to learn about their destinations and trips. Her motto is, “It’s never too late to have a great childhood.”

See you on the rivers and trails!

Bobbi Bolio joined Adventure Travel Media Source in 2002 as an active partner. She brings to ATMS her experience in the hospitality industry as well as marketing, outside sales and accounting. She is currently the Business and Operations Manager for ATMS, working on all the financial, customer service and daily staff policy implementation responsibilities of the company.

The opportunity to be involved with ATMS and founding partner, Nancy Harrison, is a dream-come-true. Bobbi and Nancy met in 1987 when they both worked for The Ranch at Ucross where they forged a relationship as colleagues and friends. It took nearly 15 years for them to both realize their dream of working together again as partners.

Bobbi lives in the Phoenix area where both of her adult children are also living.  Bobbi grew up in Wyoming, and loves the West, but Phoenix is where she loves to live.  With both of her children on their own now, Bobbi looks forward to finally taking wonderful vacations at the amazing destinations offered by the ATMS clients.  Her adventure back ground is as limited as her vacation list, but she is anxious to change all that.

Kathryn "Kitty"  Cayo began her communications career as a broadcast news reporter working the “city beat” in a mid-western college town. Her love of travel launched her a career in the hospitality industry working as a front desk clerk for a major hotel brand in the city of Milwaukee.  She managed an in-house advertising agency for a hospitality management group, and was involved in the pre-opening of two national brand hotels in the Chicago market- organizing and leading sales blitz's and assisting with public relations and special events.  After moving to the south shore of Lake Erie in NW Pennsylvania’s “Wine Country,” she served as Promotions Manager for an ABC/Fox  affiliate TV station, Public Relations Director of an art-publishing firm, as well as Communications Director for a regional Destination Management Organization. Nancy Goodwin graduated from high school and blindly followed the crowd to college. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do, but quickly discovered a way to mix her journalism degree with the new-fangled "Internet" technology. Starting out as online editor of the University's student newspaper, she quickly landed an intern position at the Boulder Daily Camera. Her experience there led to a summer internship at the New York Times on the Web. When the internship ended, she was drawn in by the allure of the dot-com world, and helped create and coordinate web projects for clients including Churchill Downs, Franklin Covey and Spa Hyatt. After the dot-com bubble burst, she refocused on more stable positions where she could focus on the editorial responsibilities of updating and maintaining a web presence. She currently lives in the Chicago suburbs and is sharpening her freelance writing skills. She loves using her talents to help promote ATMS's wide variety of clients.

When she isn’t traveling, Jessica Blair spends her time immersed in the written side of the travel industry – editing for a popular woman’s webzine, creating dynamic adventure travel media materials for ATMS and writing her own travel features and reviews.

Residing in Royal Oak – the youthful, trendy hub of the Detroit area – Jessica spends her time enjoying the company of family and friends, meandering downtown coffee houses and boutiques, and (of course) plotting her next great escape.

Among her favorite adventure experiences are: zip-lining through the Tongass National rain forest, sea kayaking in Alaska, waterfall hunting in Hawaii and wine tasting in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley. (Hey, wine can be an adventure too!)
